Hawaii
Hawaii shall be on top of the list among the dream destinations on this planet, it is undoubtedly the dream destination of almost every person from across the globe who has grown up watching Hollywood movies and followed the Hollywood lifestyle. Hawaii as a vacation destination is imprinted in everyone’s mind in such a manner that any vacation can not be as satisfying as one to the Hawaiian islands. However, the only negative of the vacation is the transportation, as in how to get to and from the islands to your mainland and for most of the travelers it is a huge negative which almost always results in cancelling the plan and selecting a new destination.
It is almost an eleven hour journey of connecting flights from New York or Boston. You have to take a six hour flight from New York or Boston to los Angeles or San Francisco from where it takes another five hours to the Hawaiian islands. Now add a few more hours to that if you don’t have a closely scheduled connecting flights and it might just become too much of an asking even for a dream vacation. If you would like to spare some time or have brought little ones along with you, consider a break journey in California, this will not only keep you in the relaxed vacation mood but also help as a break up in travel time.
As of now there is only one cruise liner, the NCL, offering cruises that originate and end in Hawaii there are quite a few that offer sail from the West Coast of U.S., Mexico and Canada as well. If you sail from mainland you have the advantage of cutting short one or both the flights but might just add eight days in Sea which can also be way more expensive.
