One thing you need not worry about while visiting the Honolulu islands is the Culture Shock that you might be expecting, Most of the Honolulu islands operate just like any other American city in the mainland, that is one thing you will very different about the Honolulu islands as most people expect it to be different.

So once you have landed in Oahu Airport, there are a number of transport modes available (shuttle service, taxi or car rental) for you to reach Oahu’s Cruise Port the Aloha Tower Marketplace which is just 15 minutes from the Airport but depending on the traffic and rush on streets it takes about 30 minutes at times, hotels are located at a convenient distance of seven miles as well.

However, if you are just looking to reach the Cruise port from the airport, the best mode of transportation is a cab that takes 15-20 minutes at the most to the post. However, be warned, there will be thousands of other people wanting to leave at the same time as you on the return trip from the cruise port to the air port, if you weren’t planning on staying for at least a couple of days in Oahu spring for a cab or better book a car rental before you leave and have it available on the cruise port at the scheduled time of arrival. Or else be prepared to wait for as long as a couple of hours before you get on a flight back home.
